CerradinhoBio started to be established in 2007 in Chapadão do Céu – GO, a region with potential for products such as sugarcane and corn, presenting high yields.
The Company is engaged in agricultural activities, manufacturing and trading of ethanol from sugarcane and corn, as well as export activities and eletricity trading. Aiming to supply the domestic market, the Company is focused on the production of ethanol and eneletricy.
Inauguration of the corn ethanol plant, located next to the sugarcane industrial park, in Chapadão do Céu/GO. The R$280.0 million investment increased ethanol production by 240 million liters per crop, consolidating CerradinhoBio as the largest biofuel production complex in Latin America.
Inauguration of the second boiler, completion of the second phase of the project to expand eletricicty generation and export. Investment high tahn R$250.0 million.
Installation of two new turbines and generators, increasing the installed capacity to 160MW.

Installation of the sixth crushing unit, enabling increased efficiency and productivity.
Optimized industrial capacity, both for sugarcane processing and eletricity export. Record crushing of 3.9 million tons of sugarcane in the 2013/2014 crop with the production of 332,000 m³ of ethanol and cogeneration of 199GWh of electricity.
Partnership with Ipiranga for shipping Diesel, at the logistic terminal in Chapadão do Sul.
