On March 06, Portal Nova Cana, one of the main communication vehicles in the sugar and ethanol sector, listed 100 plants that generated more energy in 2017 and a CerradinhoBio was in 1st place.
While in 2016 the plant appeared in 15th place among the largest productions in the country, in 2017 its production increased 76.32%, reaching 493.01 MWh, 33% higher than the second place, the largest amount generated by a single plant since 2013.
The increase in production is an investment made in quantity, generating an export capacity of 850 GWh/year, to the installed capacity of 160 MW.
