Directors
The Executive Board is in charge of managing and directing CerradinhoBio, developing strategic plans.
It is comprised of four qualified members for the best organization and execution of the Company’s projects, and is headed by the CEO. Besides the executive directors, the Legal, Development and Human Resources, and Strategic Planning and Projects managers also report to the CEO.
Paulo Motta is a metallurgical engineer, graduated from the Universidade Federal de Ouro Preto. Master in Management from McGill University in Montreal and Postgraduate in Business Administration from the Universidade Federal da Bahia. He is graduated as a Company Counselor by the Brazilian Institute of Corporate Governance – IBGC, besides having other specialization courses in schools in Brazil and abroad. Throughout his professional career, he has held senior executive positions in companies such as Alcan Alumínio S.A., where he worked for almost two decades, in Brazil and Canada, was Zinc Business Director at Votorantim Metais S.A., and Vice President at Votorantim Cimentos S.A. He has been CEO of Cerradinho Bioenergia since 2016.
He holds a post-graduate degree in Marketing from ESPM, an MTA (Master of technology Administration) in Management of Industrial Technology in Sugar and Energy from Universidade Federal de São Carlos, an extension course in Product Management from FGV, and a degree in Business Administration from UNIP.
He has extensive experience in the commercial area, developed in companies of major renown such as: Cia Cervejaria Brahma, Cia Antarctica Paulista, AMBEV and Usina Nova América.
Gustavo de Marchi holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the São Paulo School of Business Administration – FGV, a specialization in Financial Sector Economics from Fipe/USP, and has also attended courses at the University of Virginia/Darden School. Gustavo has started his career in the financial market and has worked for over 20 years in the financial area of companies such as AES Eletropaulo, AES Sul, and CNAA/BP Biocombustíveis.
Renato Pretti holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from UNESP, a post-graduate degree in Project Management from FGV, and other extension courses from Fundação Dom Cabral and Saint Paul.
He began his career in 2008 and since 2010 has been at Cerradinho, where he coordinated the commercialization of ethanol and energy and later became responsible for the development of strategic planning.
Eduardo Paiva holds a degree in Business Administration from UNOPAR, an MBA in Agribusiness from ESALQ, an Executive MBA in Business from UNOPAR, and several improvement courses in Management and Sales. He has extensive experience in the Commercial area, developed in large renowned companies such as: Disbenop (Ambev Network), Bunge, Multigrain (Mitsui & CO.)
